Get Prepared!

The next two years are obvious for him. He's going to be serving the Lord and putting his heart in to that. So what is there for you to do? Do you know what your plans are? Do you know what you'll do if things don't work out? It's very important to know and to prepare. Consider the following things:

- Schooling: Are you working toward a degree?
- Dating: Are you going to be dating others?
- Work: Will you be working part-time or full-time?
- Service: Are you traveling abroad to serve or becoming involved in a similar service project?
- Goals: Do you have set goals for yourself? If you knew that you would marry this guy, how do you want to prepare yourself?
- Mission: Are you going to be serving a mission?

Always having something you're working toward. ALWAYS have a Plan B. If he gets home and things just don't work out, do you know what you want to do instead? Have that plan and have a way to accomplish it. Maybe you'll continue to finish your degree and begin to date others. Maybe you'll serve a full-time mission. Either way, it's important you're aware of your plans and goals and dreams. The sky's the limit! You are young and life holds many possibilities. The next 2 years could be a great time for you to prepare for marraige if that's in the cards, or even to just prepare yourself for the temple. Whatever the case, have a plan of action and have a destination in mind.

How do you make the time pass quickly?

I cannot stress this enough, but staying busy! Have a lot of pictures and maybe a count-down chart, but the way to make 2 years zip by is to keep yourself busy.

Please take a moment to tell us about you!
